Shree Cement

Shree Cement is an Indian cement manufacturer, founded in Beawar, Rajasthan, in 1979. Now headquartered in Kolkata, it is one of the biggest cement makers in Northern India. It also produces and sells power under the name Shree Power (Captive Power Plant) and Shree Mega Power (Independent Power Plant). Plants are located in Beawar, Ras, Khushkhera, Jobner (Jaipur) and Suratgarh in Rajasthan, Laksar (Roorkee) in Uttarakhand, Panipat in Haryana, Bulandshahar in UP, Raipur in Chhattisgarh and Aurangabad in Bihar.Shree Cement was also among the industry pioneers for the use of alternate fuel resources in the production of cement and they have the highest installed capacity of Waste Heat Recover Power plants in the world, second only to China. Shree Cement is one of India’s most sustainable and fastest growing company that embraces varied perspectives, bias to action and continuous innovation to create happiness for all its stakeholders.Shree Cement main CSR activities focuses on Education, Women Empowerment, Health and Family Welfare, Infrastructure Development and Agriculture & Animal Husbandry. Their CSR team has designed multiple programmes in education such as Shree Shiksha Yojana, Nand Ghar Yojana, Shree Ki Pathshala, School Support Programme etc. Through schemes like Shree Swasthya Yojana, Mamta Camps, Shree Swachhata Projects, Mega Health Camps and Health Camps, they are assisting in expanding the reach and scope of the healthcare to ensure availability of medical facilities, clean drinking water and hygienic living conditions across India.Shree Cement committed to use sustainable ways of making cement, which includes usage of alternate fuel resources, renewable sources of energy, conservation of the mined areas and upliftment of community and creating value for all our stakeholders.Covid-19 ResponseShree Cement has imported 70 Oxygen concentrators which were handed over to the Govt. of Rajasthan and have been installed in the Covid Care Center in Bilwa, Jaipur. Shree Cement donated Truenat Testing Machines for Covid-19 to the district administration of Aurangabad, Rohtas, Gaya, Jehanabad and Arwal in Bihar. In Pali district, in Rajasthan, Shree Cement built a ward for Covid-19 patients, fixed electrical units and supplied Medical equipment specifically for Covid-19 patients which is in use at present. This is in addition to the continuous supply of PPE kits, thermal scanners, thermometers and smaller equipment which the company has maintained since the onset of Covid-19.Their shareholding pattern consists of Promoters and Promoter Group having 62.55% of shares, Public having 13.95% shares, following by FII’s having 13.02% shares and DII’s with 10.48% shares.
