Aditya Birla Capital Limited (ABCL) is the holding company for the financial services businesses of the Aditya Birla Group. Company was originally incorporated on October 15, 2007 under the Companies Act, 1956 as ‘Aditya Birla Financial Services Private Limited’ with the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai, Maharashtra and had received a certificate of registration from the Reserve Bank of India on May 19, 2009 to commence. ABCL is powered by more than 22,500 employees, the subsidiaries of ABCL have a nationwide reach with 850+ branches and more than 2,00,000 agent’s/channel partners and several bank partners. It is one of the largest Private Life Insurance companies in India and one of the largest Asset Management Companies in India.
As of March 31st, 2021, Aditya Birla Capital Limited manages aggregate assets under management over Rs.3350 billion, has a consolidated lending book of approx. Rs.606 billion, and an active customer base of over 24 million, through its subsidiaries and joint ventures. The Aditya Birla Group operates in 36 countries across the globe.

Arising from this their focus areas that have emerged are Education, Health care, Sustainable livelihood, Infrastructure development, and espousing social causes, Community Initiatives and Rural Development.

Their shareholding pattern consists of Promoters and Promoter Group having 70.69% of shares, Public having 14.57% shares, following by FII’s having 2.75% shares and DII’s with 11.98% shares.
