Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL) is an Indian consumer goods company based in Mumbai, India. GCPL is founded in 2001 and its headquarter is situated in Mumbai, Maharashtra. GCPL’s products include soap, hair colorants, toiletries and liquid detergents. GCPL operates several manufacturing facilities in India spread over seven locations and grouped into four operating clusters at Malanpur (Madhya Pradesh), Guwahati (Assam), Baddi- Thana (Himachal Pradesh), Baddi- Katha (Himachal Pradesh), Pondicherry, Chennai and Sikkim. Covid-19 Resonse
In India provided ration to over 10,685 contract workers at all Godrej Consumer Products and Godrej Agrovet sites, and to 8,900 construction workers at Godrej Properties sites. In Nepal Supported 30,169 families around Godrej Consumer Products and Godrej Agrovet sites with food and hygiene kits and area fumigation. And Distributed 3,820 Godrej No. 1 soaps, 2,750 Goodknight Octa Coils and 820 Magic hand washes among communities, 44 hospitals, 47 police stations and various government offices.
Their shareholding pattern consists of Promoters and Promoter Group having 63.23% of shares, Public having 8.58% share following by FII’s having 26.97% shares and DII’s with 1.23% shares.
