ACC Limited (Formerly The Associated Cement Companies Limited) is one of the largest producers of cement in India. It is a subsidiary of LafargeHolcim. Acc Limited had been established in Mumbai, Maharashtra on 1 August 1936.ACC Limited (ACC) is a leading player in the Indian building materials space, with a pan-India operational and marketing presence. They have also established their reputation as a pioneer organisation that has consistently set new benchmarks with their innovative research and product development. ACC has rich experience in mining, being the largest user of limestone. As one of the largest cement producers in India, it is also among the biggest customers of the domestic coal industry, of Indian Railways, and a considerable user of the country’s road transport network services for inward and outward movement of materials and products.ACC’s brand architecture comprises of Gold range and Silver range of products assuring superior quality for general construction as well as for specialised applications and environments. Their shareholding pattern consists of Promoters and Promoter Group having 54.53% of shares, Public having 12.33 % shares, Government having 0.15% following by FII’s having 13.57% shares and DII’s with 19.42% shares.
