As a one-time gesture, the Rs 49 pack FREE of cost has been introduced which offers a talk-time of Rs 38 and 100 MB data with a validity of 28 days. On April 16, 2021, the company announced an agreement with Reliance Jio Infocomm (“Jio”) to transfer the ‘Right to Use’ of Airtel’s 800 MHz spectrum in Andhra Pradesh (3.75 MHz), Delhi (1.25 MHz) and Mumbai (2.50 MHz) to Jio. The agreement is subject to statutory approvals.
The Board of Directors has not recommended any dividend for the year ended March 2021. Airtel got an 11.92% sequential growth in consolidated profit for the quarter ending March 2021, against the previous quarter while its revenue fell by 2.91% in this quarter as against in December quarter. Also, PBT fell by 148.66% QoQ & the gross profit margin fell by 2.77% QoQ. Moreover, the assets of the company fell by 3.46% against the previous quarter and Earnings per share (EPS) fell by 11.46% against the previous quarter. The Q4 results of Bharti Airtel were satiating. Also, if observed, in the past 3 months in terms of the number of subscribers Airtel took over the first position trouncing Jio.
