HDFC Asset Management Company Limited (AMC) is a subsidiary of HDFC Ltd. HDFC Asset Management Company (HDFC AMC) is the investment manager to the schemes of HDFC Mutual Fund (HDFC MF). They offer a comprehensive suite of savings and investment products across asset classes, which provide income and wealth creation opportunities. They also have a dominant position in equity investments, with the highest market share in actively managed equity-oriented funds. HDFC AMC also provides portfolio management and segregated account services, including discretionary, non-discretionary and advisory services, to high net worth individuals, family offices, domestic corporates, trusts, provident funds and domestic and global institutions.HDFC AMC has partnered with the Indian Cancer Society and contributes to the CCF project & has agreed to contribute an amount of Rs. 16.96 Cr towards this Cancer Cure Project during the Financial Year 2020-21 to provide financial assistance for the treatment of needy and low-income patients. It has also has agreed to contribute Rs. 2.592 Cr towards providing education and life skills to children who are highly vulnerable to exploitation, victimization and trafficking, including orphans, street children, abandoned children, and extremely & Rs. 1 Cr towards restoration and refurbishment of the premises of Bombay Scottish School, Mahim for the financial year 2020-21. Not only this but HDFC AMC contributed Rs. 7.5 Cr towards the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PM CARES Fund).Their shareholding pattern consists of Promoters and Promoter Group having 73.88% of shares, Public having 10.41% shares, following by FII’s having 9.14% shares and DII’s with 6.57% shares.
