Cadila Healthcare Limited (also known as Zydus Cadila) is an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Cadila is primarily engaged in the manufacture of generic drugs. It ranked 100th in the Fortune India 500 list in 2020. Cadila was founded in 1952 by Ramanbhai Patel. Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is one of the largest privately-held pharmaceutical companies in India.

‘For Cadila, CSR is a Way of Life’. Cadila Pharmaceuticals’ CSR team in association with Dholka Taluka police conducted a tree plantation drive and planted around 400 different saplings to over 33,000 trees. Cadila Pharma in association with the Animal Husbandry department- Govt. of Gujarat, and the Ahmedabad District Panchayat organized a health camp for cattle in Bhat village. In the camp, the animals received a health check-up by veterinary doctors and prescribed the necessary medicines. Launched health and livelihood initiatives on Women’s Day, under this a haemoglobin check-up was done for 70 young girls. In CSR’s Model Village scheme, 15 farmers were brought to CAD Agro (a Cadila group company) in Hirapur for an educational tour and farmers were given information about scientific organic farming methods, tissue culture and use of bio-fertilizers.
Cadila in association with Indrashil Kaka Ba and Kala Budh Public Charitable Trust set up a stitching centre in Chak Nanak village, Jammu. Six stitching machines were provided along with a trainer to facilitate training for 20 women. Cadila in association with Indrashil Kaka Ba and Kala Budh Public Charitable Trust held free medical camps in Transad and Bhat villages in which 850 people from 10 villages availed benefits. General surgeons, plastic surgeons, orthopaedic surgeons, general physicians and paramedical staff attended the visitors.
