Bharti Airtel Limited, also known as Airtel. It is an Indian multinational telecommunications services company based in New Delhi, India. It operates in 18 countries across South Asia and Africa, as well as the Channel Islands. Airtel provides 2G, 4G LTE, 4G+ mobile services, fixed line broadband and voice services depending upon the country of operation. The company was founded in 1995 by Sunil Bharti Mittal.
Airtel had also rolled out its VoLTE technology across all Indian telecom circles. It is the second largest mobile network operator in India and the second largest mobile network operator in the world with over 457.96 million subscribers.
Airtel India is the second largest provider of mobile telephony after Jio and second largest provider of fixed telephony in India, and is also a provider of broadband and subscription television services. It offers its telecom services under the airtel brand.

The Tower Infrastructure Services segment includes setting up, operating, and maintaining wireless communication towers in India. The Homes Services segment refers to services that cover voice and data communications through fixed-line network and broadband technology. The Digital TV Services segment consists of digital broadcasting services provided under the direct-to-home platform. The others segment comprises of administrative and support services provided to other segments and also include Airtel payment bank operations
Their shareholding pattern consists of Promoters and Promoter Group having 55.86% of shares, Public having 5.32% shares, following by FII’s having 18.12% shares and DII’s with 20.64% shares, Non Promoters – Non Public having 0.06%.
