Coforge is an Indian multinational information technology company based in Noida, India and New Jersey, USA. The company was founded in 1981 & was initially named ‘NIIT Ltd. In 2020, NIIT Technologies was re-branded as Coforge.
In April 2021, Coforge acquired 60% stake in SLK Global Solutions for Rs 918 crore, after this acquisition Company’s new employee strength has risen to 21,000 after inheriting 10,000 of SLK’s employee strength.
The company provide services like Digital supply chain, Artificial intelligence, Cloud infrastructure, Data management, Enterprise applications. They serve people worldwide. The vision of the company is to “engage with the emerging.”

Coforge is in collaboration with Coforge Foundation, who runs CSR programs like, Shiksha (which focuses exclusively on imparting IT education, Digital Literacy and Employability trainings to the underprivileged youth), Self4Society (social causes), Noida Deaf Society (enabling skill development and livelihood for Speech and Hearing Impaired Youth), Welfare Centre of Persons with Hearing & Speech Impairment, Vatsalyam (sponsoring education of girls).
COVID-19 RESPONSE:
During these challenging times, Coforge is focused on looking after the wellbeing of employees, families, friends and the communities that they live in; along with the on-going delivery and business support to their clients. These include: Implementation of work-from-home model wherever feasible, Continuous deep-cleaning and sanitizing of premises, Implementation and enforcement of strict hygiene practices, Fragmentation of the office work areas to comply with social distancing guidelines, etc.
Their shareholding pattern consists of Promoters and Promoter Group having 55.73% of shares, Public having 9.92% shares, following by FII’s having 19.42% shares and DII’s with 14.93% shares.
