Delhi Land & Finance (DLF Limited) is a commercial real estate developer. It was founded by Chaudhary Raghvendra Singh in 1946 and it is based in New Delhi, India. DLF builds residential, office, and retail properties.
DLF started with the creation of 22 urban colonies in Delhi. In 1985, the company expanded into the then-unknown region of Gurugram, creating exceptional living and working spaces for the new Indian global professionals. Today, DLF is the largest publicly listed real estate company in India, with residential, commercial, and retail properties in 15 states and 24 cities.
DLF is invested in driving sustainability across every vertical – from the pioneering waste water treatment systems in the DLF Golf and Country Club, to the responsible recycling of their construction materials. They endeavour to educate and empower all their stakeholders with respect to shared environmental obligations. They also operate with the intention of placing Indian industry at the global forefront of green innovation.
DLF Foundation is a charitable Trust formed under provisions of the Indian Trust Act 1882 under the direct patronage of Mr. K.P. Singh, Chairman Emeritus of DLF. The major areas of their social interventions or CSR activities include Education, Environment, Social Infrastructure, Healthcare, and Skilling & Employment. Their mission is to empower communities by creating multiple opportunities and providing platforms for the underprivileged by promoting inclusive growth which is holistic, sustainable and socially uplifting, thus enabling them to emerge as significant contributors in India’s growth story.
Their shareholding pattern consists of Promoters and Promoter Group having 74.95% of shares, Public having 5.50% shares following by FII’s having 16.99% shares and DII’s with 2.56% shares.
