SBI Cards & Payment Services Ltd. (previously known as SBI Cards), is a payment solutions provider in India. SBI Card was launched in October 1998 by the State Bank of India. SBI Card is headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana/Delhi NCR.In a span of 20 years, SBI CARDS have achieved numerous milestones. They have significantly increased their card base, added new types of cards and received various awards and recognitions for our performance, quality and service. They are the second largest credit card provider in the country, with a card base of over 10 million. They have offices in over 145 cities in India. The company also got partnered with Google & Paytm which enabled cardholders to make payments using Google Pay & Paytm SBI Card respectively. SBI Card partnered with DMRC to launch contactless Delhi Metro SBI Card. BPCL SBI Card OCTANE was launched during the same financial year.Their shareholding pattern consists of Promoters and Promoter Group having 69.50% of shares, Public having 11.34% shares, following by FII’s having 12.47% shares and DII’s with 6.69% shares.
