ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited is a general insurance company in India. The company was established in 2001. ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company is a joint venture between ICICI Bank and Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited- a financial services company based in Toronto.  ICICI Lombard General Insurance is the largest private sector general insurance company in India. It is engaged in general insurance, reinsurance, insurance claims management and investment management. The firm offers policy insurance and renewal through its intermediaries and website. It markets assurance products including Car Insurance, Health Insurance, International Travel Insurance, Overseas Student Travel Insurance, Two Wheeler Insurance, Home Insurance and Weather insurance. The company’s vision is to be the most value creating & admired risk solutions company in India with a global footprint. Caring Hands Campaign is an initiative launched by ICICI Lombard that aims at providing preventive healthcare services to underprivileged children, while engaging their employees as volunteers for projects that are cherished by them. The campaign, with support of hundreds of volunteers has been a catalyst in affecting the lives of 2, 50,000 children. Over 800 camps were organized in over 300 locations across the country. They have distributed almost 28,000 spectacles to underprivileged children so far. In FY20, volunteers organized 318 camps at 110 locations and screened the vision of 43,687 children. In FY2020, they took the helmet distribution further by giving parents as well as children around 33,000 ISI-marked helmets, so that the entire family would be protected when riding a two-wheeler.Their shareholding pattern consists of Promoters and Promoter Group having 51.88% of shares, Public having 6.69% shares, following by FII’s having 29.75% shares and DII’s with 11.69% shares.
