Suzlon Energy Limited is an Indian multinational wind turbine manufacturer based in Pune, India. It was established in 1995. Suzlon Energy is engaged in the business of manufacturing of wind turbine generators (WTGs) and related components of various capacities. Suzlon has the 2 largest operations and maintenance capacity in the country’s power sector. The company has over 12800 MW of wind capacity, comprising over 8,900 wind turbine generations (WTGs) across 150 plus sites in 8 States, under its service fold. With rich experience of over two decades, Suzlon Global Services Limited (SGSL) manages 35% of the Indian wind installed capacity. SGSL delivers 96.6% fleet machine availability to more than 1800 customers. Suzlon ensures availability, safety and reliability of the 18800 MW fleet comprising over 12,000 WTGs it operates and maintains in 16 countries across 6 continents.As a responsible corporate citizen, Suzlon Energy has spent its CSR funds into different areas. The CSR activities focused on six key areas – Environment, Empowerment, Health, Livelihood, Education and Civic Amenities. In FY 2019-20, Suzlon Foundation planted 34,601 trees of 59 different local species. Different health initiatives were also supported by Suzlon Energy.Their shareholding pattern include Promoters having 17.17% shares, FIIs having 4.22% shares, DIIs having 16.54% shares and Public having 62.07% shares.For the quarter ended 31-03-2021, the company has reported a Consolidated Total Income of ₹ 1141.15 Crore, up 18.92% from last quarter Total Income of ₹ 959.52 Crore and up 73.19% from last year same quarter Total Income of ₹ 658.89 Crore. Company has reported net loss after tax of ₹ 54.25 Crore in latest quarter. The Board of Directors have recommended dividend for FY-21.The result of Suzlon Energy is competent.
