GMR Infrastructure Limited is an Indian infrastructure development company headquartered in NewDelhi. The company was founded in 1978 by Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao. GMR Infrastructure Limited is a leading global infrastructure conglomerate with interest in Airports, Energy, Transportation and Urban Infrastructure business sectors in India and few countries overseas. The Company has an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) business focusing on execution of projects of Group SPVs, external customers and EPC project of International Airport. GMR Infrastructure operates several airports in India including Delhi Airport and Hyderabad Airport. In energy sector, the company has operating capacity of around 3,050 MWs of Coal, Gas, Liquid fuel and Renewable power plants in India, 180 MWs under construction and around 1,775 MWs of power projects are under various stages development. The company is developing g several highway project and urban infrastructure project in India including Dedicated Freight Corridor Projects and GMR Krishnagiri Special Investment Region. GMR Infrastructure has recently announced partnership with Groupe ADP in which the Groupe ADP acquired 49% stake in GMR Airports.As a responsible corporate citizen, GMR Varalakshmi Foundation trained highly committed and skilled women in service of defending communities and the frontline COVID warriors by preparing masks and PPEs. More than 1.70 lakhs of cooked meals were distributed during lockdown period to vulnerable people and migrant workers. More than 6000 dry ration kits were also distributed among the needy as an essential support. The Company, through its subsidiaries/ associate companies and group companies, spent an amount of Rs 43.24 Crores during the year in CSR Activities.Their shareholding pattern include: Promoters having 62.61% shares, FIIs having 23.75% shares, DIIs having 3.15% shares and Public having 10.50% shares.For the quarter ended 31-03-2021, the company has reported a Consolidated Total Income of Rs 2519.25 Crore, up 50.53% from last quarter Total Income of Rs 1673.53 Crore and down 1.37% from last year same quarter Total Income of Rs 2554.31 Crore. Company has reported net loss after tax of Rs 723.36 Crore in latest quarter.
