Escorts Limited is an Indian multinational conglomerate and automotive engineering company. Its headquarters are in Faridabad. It was founded in the year 1944 and have operations in more than 40 countries. Escorts manufactures tractors, automotive components, railway equipment, and construction and material handling equipment. Escorts has helped drive India’s socio-economic growth for seven decades.
Escorts has played a critical role in India’s agricultural growth for over five decades, having pioneered farm mechanization in the region. Escorts, one of the country’s leading tractor manufacturers, offers a diverse range of tractors, with more than 45 models ranging in horsepower from 25 to 80. (HP).

In the year 2021, Escorts became the first company to get Budni Certification in India for electric tractors.
Commendable work done by the company in social responsibility by introducing various initiatives on community health, women empowerment, social welfare / eco-responsiveness, employee engagement, national/international contingencies. Also, when the India is hit by second wave of the COVID-19, Escorts organised free COVID-19 vaccination camps for employees in facilities across Haryana.
The board of directors recommended a dividend of Rs 7.5 per equity share for the year ended on 31st March 2021. Meanwhile, Escorts Limited total income grew 8.6% and stood at Rs 2270.65 crores for Q4FY21, as compared to Rs 2090.93 crores in Q3FY21, net profit is Rs 265.41 crores (7.33 % less than Q3) in Q4FY21 against Rs 286.42 crores in Q3FY21.
