Indus Towers which were known by the name of Bharti Infratel in the past is one of the leading and largest telecommunication infrastructure providers. It mainly manufactures telecom towers and other telecom structures & equipment for mobile operators. It is most popular among the industry because of the adoption of green energy for its operations. They have 22 telecom circles present all over India.
The shareholding pattern of Indus towers is as follows: Promoter holding with 69.85%, public holding with 0.64%, foreign institutional investors with 27.08% and domestic institutional investors at 2.43%. The consolidated annual revenue of Indus Towers for the year ending 31st March 2021 was Rs. 25, 673 Cr. with a growth of 0.4% Y-o-Y and consolidated quarterly revenue was Rs. 6,492 Cr. with a growth of 3% Y-o-Y. Similarly, Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) annually stood at Rs.13,257 Cr. (growth of 4.2% Y-o-Y) and quarterly EBITDA stood at Rs. 3,413 Cr. (growth of 17% Y-o-Y). Also, Profit after tax (PAT) grew by 109.96% when compared to Q4 of 2020 with Rs. 1363.7 Cr. Operating free cash flow was Rs. 1,494 Cr. showing a growth of 2% Y-o-Y.
Apart from profit and EBITDA, the value of assets increased to Rs. 4,49,437 Cr. showing a growth of 64.77% as compared to the beginning of the year. Overall financial performance of the company stood up to the mark and remarkably satisfactory.
